For real this time. It was a little excruciating but I reached my goal. My entire commute. Traffic cooperated. Red lights tried to ruin it. Averaged a little under 60 mph.

This is a latest gen Mazda3 hatchback, right? Very impressive. I have to watch my right foot in order to maintain 28 MPG out of my Volvo S80.

It is. I miss the low end torque of my previous cars but I don’t miss getting 25 mpg highway on a good day. I usually get at least 40 mpg now. The Corolla (not my torquey previous car) did pretty good but was declining in old age.
